Last updated on January 02, 2026
0. Introduction
KicksDB (formerly known as SneakersAPI) provides access to sneaker and apparel market data via API. Any references to “SneakersAPI” in historical documentation, legacy codebases, or prior agreements are now legally understood to apply to KicksDB.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using kicks.dev (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.
2. API Usage and Access
2.1 Permitted Use
Users are granted a non-exclusive right to use, cache, resell, or redistribute the API data provided by KicksDB, subject to the limitations of their chosen plan.
2.2 Subscription Plans and Limits
| Plan | Base requests quota | Base Price |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1,000 requests | €0 |
| Starter | 50,000 requests | €29 |
| Pro | 250,000 requests | €79 |
When exceeding the limits of the plan, you'll be charged 0.05€ per 1,000 additional requests, except for the Free plan which has a hard limit. Enterprise plans are available upon request.
2.3 Access Restrictions
- Security: API keys are unique to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Sharing API keys is strictly prohibited.
- Termination: Any abuse or violation of these terms may result in the immediate revocation of your API key and termination of your subscription without a refund.
3. Billing and Payments
3.1 Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard to prevent future charges.
3.2 Refund Policy
KicksDB offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the initial subscription date.
3.3 Overage Policy
By default, KicksDB enforces a hard limit on requests. If you wish to enable overages at the rates specified in Section 2.2, you must opt-in via your billing settings. Otherwise, API requests exceeding the plan limit will be blocked until the start of the next billing cycle.
4. Data Accuracy and Disclaimers
4.1 Data Disclaimer
KicksDB aggregates data from multiple third-party sources. While we employ rigorous cleaning processes to ensure accuracy, we provide the data "as-is." We are not liable for inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information.
4.2 Brand Affiliation
KicksDB is an independent data provider. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any brands or marketplaces, including but not limited to Nike, StockX, or their subsidiaries.
5. User Conduct and Fair Usage
Users must adhere to fair usage practices. Prohibited activities include:
- Excessive API calls intended to disrupt service stability.
- Automated account creation or "sybil" attacks.
- Any activity that bypasses security measures.
KicksDB reserves the right to terminate access for any behavior deemed abusive at our sole discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
KicksDB does not claim ownership of the third-party data indexed through the API. However, the Service’s proprietary software, logo, website design, and unique data structures remain the exclusive property of KicksDB.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Uptime: We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee it. KicksDB is not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions or maintenance.
- Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, KicksDB shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Privacy and Data Collection
- Data Collected: We collect minimal information necessary for service delivery, including email addresses, billing data (processed via Stripe), and usage metrics.
- Sharing: We do not sell or share user data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Retention: Personal data is retained for as long as an account is active. Accounts inactive for more than 2 years will be purged, unless a deletion request is received sooner.
9. Modifications to Service and Pricing
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or pricing tier at any time. Continued use of the Service following a change in terms or pricing constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
